Sandi Carroll

Sandi is an actor, comedienne and educator. She made her Broadway debut in Irena’s Vow in 2009. As an actor, film credits include Rabbit Hole with Nicole Kidman (2010), Steven Wright’s One Soldier (Independent Film Channel), Brad Anderson’s The Darien Gap (IFP, Sundance) and Next Stop Wonderland (Miramax, Sundance). As a comedienne, she develops original work with Logic Limited, Ltd., and has written and performed several original shows including Famous! (La Mama) and Faux: An Auto-Spy-Ography, (Ohio) based on her experiences as an undercover private investigator in Chinatown. As an educator she has taught at NYU, Emerson College, The Public Theater’s Shakespeare Lab, TFANA and TDF. For Mud/Bone she was a performer/creator in Impossible Country, Richard 2x8 (a clown show) and Liminal; and a performer in 365 Days/Plays at Studio 889 and The Public Theatre. She also ran Mud/Bone’s Classical Theater Lab from 2005–2008. As a producer, she founded Small Change Theater (Boston), HoverGround Productions (Brooklyn), produced & curated McBeth’s (a live performance venue) for Lot 47 Films (Manhattan), produced the Summer Arts Institute Festival for the NYC Dept. of Education, and worked as the Education Manager at The Public Theater, producing the Shakespeare Lab as well as other outreach initiatives.
