Eight clowns decide to put on Richard II by William Shakespeare, but they can’t agree on who will play the King. Created by the ensemble with songs and accompaniment by musician Marni Rice, this 60-minute version of Richard II captured the essence of Shakespeare’s classic power struggle. As each clown seized the crown for their brief moment on the throne, the story of Richard’s fall from grace came to life.
